Backward (Stop going back)
I have often said that going back is never a good thing, toward or into the past.
I tried to do this with an ex-boyfriend I ran into last year, and at first, things were going well; I was cool all summer.
Come the fall, I found out he had a girlfriend.
Backward I went because it was comfortable and I thought it was meant to be things or meet cute, don't happen by chance, or coincidence.
I have found that often going backward can sometimes be a test to see how strong you are. Can you resist the temptation of those old memories still in your head of what once was?
Backwards sometimes can be because you fear the new and unfamiliar.
I found someone whom I've grown close to in the past two months.
I have had two dreams of late of two of my exes coming back to confess their love for me.
These two men in the past have both ghosted me, but it made me think of something my grandma used to say, "A man will lose a good woman and can tell when a new man is in her life."
Stop going backward because there is never anything worth circling the block for ever.
Backwards is something we oftentimes do when that lonely emotion shows and whispers in your ear, This is the best you can get. only to find out that it's the same thing you left years ago.
Remember, the unknown can bring joy and a newfound happiness that at one point you didn't know you needed.
My advice is to stop going backward and embrace what God has put right in front of you.
