Closure
An act or process of closing something, especially an institution, thoroughfare, or frontier, or of closed.
I have been putting off writing this for three days, writing this because the year comes to a close.
This year has been one of great loss and strength for me.
I have heard people all year trying to tell me how to deal with my grief over the loss of two people in my life, as if I can just forget them.
I want to start the new year by keeping their memories alive by continuing to be the best, loving, supportive self.
Closure is the restart of letting go of things and people who no longer serve you.
Stepping into 2026 is my restart to one-stop living in fear of the plan God has for me.
Closure is to step out of our comfort zones and leap out on faith, do what feels right, and move into it.
Closure means loving without the doubt of feeling you're not worthy of that love.
Bring 2026 in with love and grace, but most importantly, bring in the new year with those you love.
