God's Timing
The belief that everything that happens in life does so at a time ordained by a higher power. and the timing is seen as perfect and purposeful.
Yesterday, as I was on my way to wash clothes, my Lyft driver and I started a conversation, and he was explaining to me the work he is doing to end gun violence with our youth.
I told him my story about losing my brother to gun violence years ago, and he was telling me how he was doing a panel in December and asked if I would sit on the panel. I knew right then it was God's Timing working.
My grandma used to say, "Nothing happens by chance or coincidence." That everything that happens is in God's timing.
I have been motivating people in my life for as long as I can remember, so to be blessed with speaking to an audience is truly a blessing ordained by God.
God's Timing is truly a blessing in disguise because at times when we feel we're not doing enough, he will send something or someone in to show you the way to go in words and in your purpose.
My gift is through words, and sitting on this panel will help me express my words and tell my story of loss, and listening to others' stories, then I know I'm on the right track of living and moving in my purpose in God's Timing.
