Integrity
The quality of being honest, having moral principles, and maintaining consistency in actions, values, and methods.
This week has been filled with a lot of ups and downs.
People have forgotten their integrity amid the many differences in others' feelings.
This week has also shown me how our government has ignored the human moral compass in treating everyone as equals.
Integrity is the heart of human compassion and understanding.
We have begun to forget that, and our country is now in the middle of a war we need not be in.
We have been sold to the highest bidder for the sake of oil and the money it generates.
The integrity of not selling out to make it better for the rich, and we, the lower middle class, remain poor and struggling to provide for our families.
I have had this on my mind for a couple of days. The way I see the world right now is not good, and I'm sure I am not alone.
Integrity implies wholeness or doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
So, when did it come to the point that we sell our souls and lose our integrity?
We have to regain our integrity or keep losing our souls!
