Happy Place
This subject came into my head at work today.
I often wonder where I would go if I could afford a happy place.
since I love music, I would probably be on someone's island listen to wonderful Caribbean music. but since I live in the world of reality and low budget My happy place is putting pen to paper and going into the world of my very big imagination. to be able to able to escape into characters that I create from personal experience is my true happy place.
I will make it soon to an island of my choice to be able to put a vision to my happy place.
to find another avenue to create more interesting characters and storylines.
so, my question to all those that read my blog from time to time. what is your happy place? and how often to do you visit it? doesn't matter if it's a place or an escape in your mind.
sometimes my happy place can be a very good book, even though friends have been telling me for years I need to write a book about my life, tried it and it never worked out for me. I feel the most comfortable writing plays and short stories, that way there is a few bits and pieces of me in each one. a happy place can be many things to different people.
all that is going on in the world and losing loved ones and others in this world, do me a favor the next time you're overwhelmed with life and all that it is remember to go and find some sense of quiet and go to your happy place.
