Legacy(What We Leave Behind)
Legacy is defined by the amount of money or property left to someone in a will.
the long-term impact of a particular event, or action.
After the loss of two very important people in my life I see that in death we are determined by our possessions and what others can take from us after we're gone.
Both the people I lost didn't have world possessions what they had was a legacy of values, trust, love, and genuine kindness for themselves and others, no matter how others treated them.
It's sad to see how we as human beings only see others in death from what we can take from them no matter how small it may be.
I have watched the greed of a few family members be so bad that they don't even give their loved ones the send-off they deserve because of the greed of taking whatever little they have left.
Your legacy is supposed to be passed down to generations so they can see what a great human being you were and your impact on others through kindness and generosity through your work.
So often, we forget that what we leave behind affects our character.
My legacy that I leave behind will be how through every storm or great loss I stood strong and remembered the lessons of those before me, my being a kind, loving, and humble person who will help anyone in need and not expect anything in return.
Greed has become part of what some of us wish to leave behind as a legacy.
What we leave behind should be of love, compassion, trust, and most importantly humbleness of being what God blessed us all to be.
Let your legacy be that which you can look down on from the heavens and be proud that you made a positive difference on this earth.
