Opinions and Advice
This topic has been on my mind all day.
my grandmother used to say"Opinions are like assholes everyone has one".
I have come to believe that it's very accurate I mean there is a difference you can give your opinion on a recipe or a dress your friend knows she shouldn't wear, but the advice is something that is an honest thought and you give it when needed not because you just feel the need. I have had my opinions about a lot of things but I keep them to myself. my friends have been there to give me plenty of advice on relationships, self-love, self-care, etc, but I know it comes from a place of honesty and trust. so please try to remember to give your advice from an honest and true place not giving your opinion based on your feelings or lack there of.
opinions are a hard thing to take back just like giving bad advice is hard to take back.
when I give my advice it's because I had a simliar experience, my opinion is a basic educated guess of what I think not fact. so the next time you're in a sitution of giving advice or your opinion be sure you truly know the difference.
